Try this simple, delicious and healthy dessert the next time you grill! When grilled you can serve with a little vanilla yogurt or other toppings. Peel the skin off the cooked peach and serve on a graham cracker, and you’ll have all the flavors of a peach pie without all the calories!
- 6 medium peaches washed/fuzz removed
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- cooking spray for the grill
Heat a grill to medium. Spray grill rack with cooking spray or wipe with vegetable oil.
Cut ripe peaches in half and remove pit. Sprinkle each peach half with a dash of cinnamon.
Place peaches on grill with the cut side facing down. Cook until the peach starts to soften and grill marks have formed, about 4 to 5 minutes.
Turn peaches to skin side down and continue to grill until skin begins to blacken and juices are bubbling.
Remove from grill and serve with vanilla yogurt, whipped cream, or whipped full-fat coconut milk sweetened with a little raw honey or stevia.
