Outdoor Boot Camp Group Workouts Coming Summer 2019!
Exercising in a group environment has lots of benefits.
From making new friends to staying motivated—plus it’s just more fun! Our group workouts are small—no more than 10 people—which allows us to give you plenty of one-on-one attention, even in a group setting.
As with personal training, new prospective group workout participants receive a free 30-minute consultation to review fitness goals and assess their ability to workout in a group safely. The client’s first appointment is a 50-minute orientation session, which includes a Functional Movement Systems evaluation and a fitness test that includes testing strength and stamina.
These evaluations ensure that each person is performing at their level of fitness while exercising with the group. Body measurements, body fat, weight, and photos are recorded to measure the client’s progress from month to month.
Group workouts are 1 hour and incorporate a variety of exercise formats and equipment. Our group workouts are for all fitness levels—we are experts at modifying (or intensifying) your workout to meet your level of fitness.
Sessions may include the use of body-weight, free weights, TRX, battling ropes, medicine balls, resistant bands, and bosu. Some sessions take a High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) approach, while others focus more on weight training.
Every class is designed to keep your heart rate at your fat-burning level, while providing variety to eliminate workout boredom (a common reason for stopping an exercise program).
